The Quotes I Use

I use a javascript routine to randomly display quotes on my main page. I wrote this page to display all those quotes. When I find a quote I like, I add it!

Most of these quotations were made by writers. Some are about fishing, some are about life, and some of us can't distinguish between the two.

I can't imagine a fly fisherman who doesn't anxiously await the next available writing of John Gierach. Fly fishing offers three tremendous enjoyments: fly fishing, fly tying, and reading about fly fishing. I stole their quotes. You can steal their thoughts! Good reading!

Sir Winston Churchill spoke to us all when he said "It is a good thing for an uneducated man to read books of quotations."
